My name is Ben Lackey.
The name Lackey means servant. I believe we need elected officials who understand their role is to serve the public.
I’m running for District 2 City Council in Tacoma. The election is November, 2025.
In the picture above, I’m walking the lower Garfield Gulch trail. I worked with our neighbors to restore this trail and successfully lobbied Metro Parks to reopen it. This trail is a section of the Bayside Trails. You can check it out here.
